Hwange is Zimbabwe’s largest National Park, spanning an area of over 14,500km² and is a safari lovers dream destination. Hwange is that place where everyone leaves with a real safari story, from huge elephant herds to amazing landscapes and predator interaction – Hwange is a Zimbabwe safari institution. The northern boundary lies about one hour south of the mighty Victoria Falls making this a must-do safari combination.
In the water-scarce landscape of Hwange, the provision of water in this National Park is critical to the survival of large elephant herds. The park has good predator density, so you can expect to experience the thrill of true African safari here. Over and above this, Hwange is still home to the majestic Sable and Roan antelopes. There is public access to the park, but we focus on safari in the excellent private concessions in the south-east, offering our guests exceptional and intimate game viewing away from the busier reaches of the reserve.
