Matemwe Retreat
Matemwe Retreat consists of just four private villas, each with expansive views east to the turquoise Indian Ocean. There is good scuba diving and snorkelling to be had and the opportunity to glimpse the very rare small antelope, the Ader’s Duiker. You will not want to leave!
Sanctuary Swala
Sanctuary Swala is a luxury eco-friendly camp set in a tall Acacia grove in the west of Tarangire National Park. The camp waterhole is an attraction for game and the woodland birds are easy to see. Exciting game drives are definitely part of the Swala experience.
Oliver’s Camp
Oliver’s Camp is THE quintessential safari camp in Tarangire National Park and indeed much of Tanzania. The spacious open rooms soak in the views over a floodplain which is a haven for game especially in the dry season. Walking safaris, fly-camping and night drives are the specialities here in the land of elephants.
Chem Chem Lodge
The spacious luxury tented suites of Chem Chem Lodge set the tone for a relaxing yet interactive safari experience. The Chem Chem area is wedged between the famed Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks which can be visited with ease from this camp as well.
Lake Manyara Tree Lodge
Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is hidden in a forest pocket in the far southern reaches of the park. Gaudy birds, noisy bushbabies and elephants are part of camp life. Whilst on safari itself the impressive rift valley walls, vast flamingo-pink lake and diverse wildlife make this is very special place to visit.
Azura Selous
Azura Selous is in a secluded part of Selous overlooking the Great Ruaha River.
