Little Kulala – Sossusvlei

Little Kulala is a desert heaven. It is the closest camp to the national park and Sossusvlei dunes including “Big Daddy”. It also has a private gate which is ideal for photographers and those that love to avoid the crowds. There are varied activities in Kulala Wilderness Reserve from quad biking to hot air ballooning and scenic nature drives in search of desert wildlife.

Sossusvlei Desert Lodge

Sossusvlei Desert Lodge is the ultimate in luxury in this harsh and beautiful desert. The lodge is perfect for simply being in the desert and for the more active, there are opportunities to hike, game-drive, hot-air balloon, quad-bike and star-gaze.

After enjoying Chiawa’s renowned cuisine on the al-fresco dining veranda, one can relax by the open camp fire with a cocktail in-hand, reminiscing upon the day’s adventures before retiring for the night. Also available for guests’ enjoyment and relaxation are two perfectly positioned game viewing hides and a gorgeous swimming pool with timber sun deck overlooking the Zambezi.

For the more active, a small but well equipped, secluded Exercise Area with a splendid view of the Zambezi is available for guests who might wish to work off some calories or keep up their fitness levels.

Sanctuary Puku Ridge – South Luangwa

Sanctuary Puku Ridge is set back from the seasonal Luangwa River offering expansive views. The semi-tented camp is small, ideal for personalised service and the chance to journey through the bush at your leisure. Resident Puku antelope are easily seen as well as hippo, elephant and other big game.

Busanga Bush Camp

Busanga Bush Camp is a small 4-roomed bush camp in the heart of Kafue. The plains teem with lechwe and puku and the famous resident tree-climbing lions are usually to be found. A hot-air balloon ride is the pinnacle of the safari in this remote African park.

Shumba Camp

The intimate Shumba Camp is set in the middle of the productive Busanga Plains in Kafue. From here there is easy access to game-rich floodplains and water-based activities in season. Night drives and hot-air ballooning add to the allure of an exciting safari here in Kafue.

Tongabezi

Tongabezi Lodge is a funky lodge on the banks of the Zambezi about half and hour from Victoria Falls. It has a variety of unique cottages and houses to cater for different groups. It has a romantic and relaxed atmosphere and a wide range of activities are available both at camp and in Livingstone town.

Toka Leya

The luxurious Toka Leya Camp is in an enviable location on the banks of the Zambezi River, just 20 minutes upstream from the Victoria Falls. It falls within the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and enjoys regular visits from resident hippo, elephant and white rhino. Fishing, birding and sundowner cruises on the lodge boats is great!

The Royal Livingstone

This upmarket hotel is the prime site from which to enjoy the mighty Victoria Falls. Sasaab

The luxurious Sasaab is located on a Samburu community conservancy west of the Samburu National Reserve. Exploring by vehicle, on foot or by camel you can encounter the special arid-zone ‘Samburu Special Five’ (Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Gerenuk and Somali Ostrich) as well as traditional big game.

Matemwe Retreat

Matemwe Retreat consists of just four private villas, each with expansive views east to the turquoise Indian Ocean. Sanctuary Swala is a luxury eco-friendly camp set in a tall Acacia grove in the west of Tarangire National Park. The camp waterhole is an attraction for game and the woodland birds are easy to see. Exciting game drives are definitely part of the Swala experience.

Oliver’s Camp is THE quintessential safari camp in Tarangire National Park and indeed much of Tanzania.
